Swim 2.4Mi, Bike 112Mi, Run 26.2Mi...Brag for a Lifetime! The IRONMAN is about people who become heroes. It is an impossible task proven to be possible year after year. It is about athletes, the fast ones and the slow ones alike stripped of everything but the simple desire to take one step further than they themselves believed is possible. That they do this voluntarily, might sound crazy, but noble is what it really is. What I like best about IRONMAN: "The nobility of the effort."
